Although "small town" (completely relative concept, yes) life kind of gets to me sometimes...this little town really is lovely, especially in the summer. Joel and I have been taking lots of walks recently to encourage baby to stay head down/make an appearance. I take my camera sometimes to try to practice taking some pics... I still really need to read that book. Anyway... these first two pics are the beach just two blocks from the house where we're living right now... 
Joel has taken up kite-surfing. He had his first lesson in Mauritius on our honeymoon... his second not even a week ago here in South Haven...and now he's got all the gear, and has already been out on his own. He is not in this picture, but, these are some of the guys that he's been hanging out with. I hope to follow him to the beach sometime soon and try to get some pictures and/or video of him in action as well.
